The process begins with a ceramic vessel that is glazed with a mixture of copper oxide mined in the region. During firing, the compound reveals a range of rich greensfrom deep olive to ochre. Made entirely by hand, these pieces feature variation and imperfections characteristic of the technique. DIA 8"
