Fire It Up Mixed Six Sonoma Coast Grown at 300 metres inCharcoal wants tannin, smoke wants fruit, and none of this is the moment for a delicate Burgundy. The Chocolate Block leads, all dark fruit and Swartland swagger, backed by a black pepper Syrah, a firm Cahors Malbec built for red meat, a bright Pays d'Oc Syrah for the sausages, a Languedoc blend with proper garrigue character and a soft Rhne Merlot and Caladoc for the people who claim they don't like big reds. Six bottles, one barbecue, no leftovers.
