I saw a bright red shirt on display outside a shop, laid over a turquoise scarf and adorned with marigold beads. The collection of colors took my breath away. I loved the intensity of the colors against the softness of the storefronts neutral adobe and tiles. When I showed the painting to a musical friend, she said it made her think of discordant harmonythat sound in music when things dont quite fit
